Privacy notice
This page explains what happens to what you type into the form on this site. It is short because we collect very little.
Who is responsible

What we collect, and only that
The form asks for the name of your restaurant, your name, your email address, and optionally your city, roughly how many covers you do, and a few lines about how you take bookings today. We also record the IP address the form was sent from, to stop the same machine submitting the form hundreds of times.
There is nothing else. No tracking pixels, no advertising cookies, no analytics that follow you elsewhere.
Why we are allowed to hold it
Because you asked us to get in touch, and ticked the box saying so. In the language of the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) that is your consent under Article 6(1)(a), and our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) in answering someone who wrote to us.
What we do with it
Two emails go out: one to us with what you wrote, and one back to you confirming it arrived. After that we reply to you like a normal person answering an email. We do not sell it, we do not rent it, and we do not add you to a mailing list — there isn't one.
Who else sees it
Our web host, because the site runs on their machine, and our email provider, because the messages pass through it. Both act on our instructions under Article 28 of the GDPR. Nobody else.
How long we keep it
Twelve months if nothing comes of the enquiry, then it is deleted. If you become a customer, for as long as you are one and then for the period Italian law requires us to keep commercial records. The IP addresses used for rate limiting are deleted after one hour.
What you can ask us to do
- Tell you exactly what we hold about you (Article 15)
- Correct anything wrong (Article 16)
- Delete it (Article 17)
- Stop processing it while a dispute is sorted out (Article 18)
- Send it to you in a portable format (Article 20)
- Object to us processing it at all (Article 21)
- Withdraw your consent, at any moment and without giving a reason (Article 7(3))
Write to contact@bookingnow.it and we will do it. If we get it wrong, you can complain to the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, at garanteprivacy.it.
Guests of your restaurant
Worth saying plainly, because it is the question restaurants ask first: the emails your guests receive are sent by you, from your own domain, through your own provider. Your guest list stays on your side and does not pass through us.
Cookies
This site sets none. Nothing is stored in your browser by us.
